How the team handicap works

Player Skill Level (SL)
Player skill level is your average number of points per game for the current session.
Your skill level is computer generated and cannot be manually manipulated.
Skill levels range from (0) to (10) based on your performance.
(SL) is displayed on the score sheet for each player.

New Players (SL)
New players that come into the league will start as a SL7 if their play level is unknown.

Team Handicap
Team handicaps are calculated by adding total skill levels from each team and subtracting the difference between them.

The team with the highest total skill level will spot the lower skill level team the difference in total skill level times 1.8 for each round (five rounds).

For example, if team (A) totals 40 and team (B) totals 35, then:
Team (A) would get the points they scored for the evening.
Team (B) would get the points they scored for the evening + 25 x 1.8 = 45 handicap points.

Keeping Score
Teams need not concern themselves with handicaps. Your team handicap will be calculated when data is entered into the computer.

Win = 10 points.
Loss = The number of balls pocketed.
